Bubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik told to inaugurate the Biju Janata Dal Labour Front conference on November 12 at Unit VII Ground. On this Thursday this information was given by President Rajendra Prasad Singh in a press meet.

About 5,000 representatives from across the state will be present in this meeting. Rajendra Prasad Singh told that the BJDLF has been registered with the Lahore Department and it has been decided to affiliate it in the Hind Mazdoor Sabha.

Rajendra Prasad Singh said that BJDLF will take initiative to organize workers working in the unorganized sector and bring them under the ambit of the Social Security Act 2008. About 1.5 crore people are now working in different unorganized sectors in the state, he said. Among others, Executive President and Minister Prafulla Samal, General Secretary Subas Singh and Vice President and Mayor Anant Narayan Jena were present.
