Residents Demolish Alleged grabbed land property of BJD MLA


Angry residents of Rasulgarh, Bhubeneswar have allegedly demolished the boundary walls of the sitting legislature of Niali. Residents complained that MLA Promod Mallick of ruling BJD Party grabbed government land and put boundary walls.

Residents took the charge on their hands and demolished the boundary wall. However, Mr. Mallick has refused all allegations and said the land belongs to his wife. He said almost 275 decimal land near to the government land belongs to her. Denying any illegal government land grabbing, the MLA has not commented on further course of action.

Land encroachment is one of the very common issues in Odisha and this has sparked the public anger.
